On Monday, October 21, 2013 Hopewell Council 7103 will sponsor the Fourth Annual Shield Award Dinner at Sal DeForte’s restaurant.  This year will be special because in addition to honoring an EMT and firefighter from Pennington Borough, we will also have a police officer from that community. Also, we will continue to honor another police officer from Hopewell Township. 

Police Chief George Meyer will be retiring this year. We plan on presenting him with a plaque from Hopewell Council 7103 for all of his help to the Knights of Columbus over his many years.

Sponsorship Information

Once each year, the Knights of Columbus - Hopewell Council 7103 hosts this evening’s event to recognize those who made our Hopewell community a better and safer place to live.  These are the men and women who keep your employees and customers safe and your physical assets secure.  You can join us in honoring three hometown heroes at this outstanding event by becoming a sponsor in our program book.  The cost for a sponsorship ad is only $100.00 for a full page, $50.00 for a half, and $25.00 for a business card.  Please help support and honor Hopewell Valley's finest.

The Hopewell Council of Knights of Columbus has been sponsoring charitable programs, community and youth activities, and special programs that serve the needs of their church and community for over thirty years.  The Shield Award is an example of one such special program.  Their personal commitment to honor the men and women who proudly serve their community in time of need reflects their dedication to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.
